Area Activities

Located near Red Feather Lakes and Livermore, Colorado, North of the city of Fort Collins, a popular resting point for people traveling to Wyoming and a destination of its own. Looking for some true western adventure, try a cattle drive or a trail ride. Experience world class whitewater rafting on the Nationally designated "Wild and Scenic" Cache La Poudre River.

In nearby Fort Collins, taste award winning beers at one of nine breweries, or explore the unique shopping areas of Old Town.  With a plethora of restaurants, outdoor activities, a vibrant downtown and of course our beer, Old Town abounds with shops and galleries featuring the work of local artists, craftsmen and photographers.

Fishing

Fly fishing is often available out the back door on the North Fork of the Cache La Poudre on the property.  Special fishing trips can be scheduled to areas near the property such as Red Feather Lakes, the Poudre Canyon and the Cherokee Park State Wildlife Area. Fishing is best in June and September.

Golf

Golf is available in Red Feather Lakes, at Fox Acres Country Club, voted 17th most fun course to play in the country in 2012. Only 20 minutes from the Ranch, special golf packages are available.

White Water River Rafting

From the middle of May to August Guided White Water Rafting is available on the Cache La Poudre.

Concerts

Concerts take place at Mishawaka Falls, in Poudre Canyon. One well-known weekend of music includes New West Fest in Fort Collins on August 9, 10, and 11, 2019

Foodies

If you’re a foodie, you may enjoy the Taste of Fort Collins in June or the Down Town Fort Collins Foodie Walk on the Third Friday of every month.

Farm To Table Dinners at Whiskey Belle Ranch

Our “Farm to Table” dinners will include 2 to 6 guests staying at the Ranch, plus invited neighbor guests. They will include samples of Ranch born items including Scottish Highland Beef, vegetables from the ranch garden, and will be served outdoors (weather permitting) on a long decorated table on our antique Iron Bridge above the Cache La Poudre River.

Dates for the 2018 dinners will be determined closer to the Summer and posted on our Whiskey Belle Ranch Facebook page.

Beer Tasting and Tours

Taprooms include Budweiser, Odell’s Brewing Company, New Belgium Brewing Company, Black Bottle Brewery and Funkwerks Brewery.

Religious Sites

Religious centers include Shambhala Mountain Center - 20 minutes from the Ranch; The Abbey of St. Walburga - 20 minutes from the Ranch.

Hiking

This is the area to find a great hike: Red Feather Lakes - several hikes - 25 minutes from the Ranch; Eagles Nest - 10 minutes from the Ranch and Soapstone Prairie Natural Area - 30 minutes from the Ranch
